Creativio is a SaaS platform that makes product photography easier for e-commerce businesses, brands, and content creators. Instead of organizing costly photoshoots, users can upload their product images and use AI tools to create studio-quality visuals in just a few minutes.

The platform combines background generation, image editing, enhancement tools, and AI automation in one place. Users can create new scenes, remove unwanted elements, upscale images, extract text from visuals, and make marketing-ready content without professional design skills.

We joined the project after another team had already started development. Our job was to stabilize the product, finish incomplete features, move the platform to a new AI system, and build a custom editor that supports several AI-powered image tools in one interface.

The scope also included improving the platform architecture, reducing technical debt, and preparing the product for future scalability.

The biggest challenge was the inherited codebase. Many core features used hardcoded logic and were not built to scale, which made development harder. Some features had already been sold to customers but were not working yet, adding more pressure to meet deadlines. We had to simultaneously refactor existing functionality, fix critical issues, and continue developing new features without disrupting the user experience.

A custom-built editor serves as the core workspace of the platform. Users can edit images with AI tools like inpainting, outpainting, object removal, image expansion, and resolution enhancement. The editor also provides brush-based controls for applying changes to specific areas of an image rather than regenerating the entire composition.

Additional editing capabilities include text overlays, undo and redo actions, image cleanup, and detailed visual adjustments, giving users both automation and creative control.

Beyond image generation, the platform includes several supporting AI tools. Image Enhancement improves image quality and sharpness while increasing resolution for marketing and e-commerce use cases. The Image-to-Text feature extracts text from uploaded images, helping users convert visual information into editable content and streamline content creation workflows. 

A learning section with YouTube-based tutorials that show how to use different tools. Admins can manage the video list from the CMS.

One of the key platform capabilities is the ability to work with different AI engines. Users can choose between Stability AI models and a custom in-house image generation engine depending on the desired output and workflow requirements.

This flexibility allows the platform to support multiple use cases while reducing dependence on a single AI provider.

The platform follows a subscription-based SaaS model with several licensing options. Users can choose from a free trial, Starter, Business, or Professional plan. Each plan has different credit limits and access to advanced features.

Authentication is supported through Google Sign-In, while the built-in credit system allows users to consume AI resources based on their selected plan.

The platform also includes educational content through a webinar section where users can access tutorials and learn how to use different AI tools. Administrators can manage this content directly through the CMS.

The platform continues to evolve with new AI capabilities and workflow improvements. By combining image generation, editing, enhancement, and automation tools in a single product, Creativio helps businesses reduce the time and cost associated with traditional product photography while maintaining professional-quality results.
